Mojo Center
Hope for Kids (HFK) Mojo Center helps rescue countless vulnerable children from the streets and restore them to lives of dignity, hope, and purpose through the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.
At the heart of this vision is a strong focus on family-based care, empowering families and communities to provide safe, nurturing, and God-centered environments whenever possible. Through our programs encompassing education, discipleship, life-skills training, and spiritual formation, HFK seeks to raise a generation of children who are Christ-centered, restored, educated, and God-fearing. These children are equipped not only to break the cycle of poverty but also to serve as agents of transformation—bringing hope, love, and positive change to their families, churches, communities, and society at large.
Guided by God’s provision and wisdom, HFK strives to create a lasting impact on children's lives, nurturing them to grow in faith, resilience, and purpose so they may reflect His glory and fulfill the calling He has placed on their lives.
Rescued: 330 Children
Permanenly in our Center: 64 Children
Kombolcha Center
The second Hope for Kids (HFK) center has been opened in Kombolcha town, Amhara region, fulfilling God’s vision to reach the countless street children in Ethiopia who face immense challenges due to poverty, civil unrest, political instability, and other hardships.
The Kombolcha center has been intentionally designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and God-centered environment for 50 resident children, while also extending support to 250 children through its community-based programs. The center’s residential program offers a structured approach, where children live in a caring and spiritually guided environment that promotes their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual growth. Here, children receive daily supervision, access to quality education, vocational training, life skills development, and discipleship, enabling them to experience healing and restoration through the love of Christ.
The community-based program extends HFK’s reach to children who remain with their families or in their communities but are still begging on the streets due to harsh conditions. Every intervention is rooted in God’s grace, aiming not only to meet the children’s immediate needs but also to plant seeds of faith, resilience, and salvation in Christ Jesus, so that they may flourish and become a testimony of God’s redeeming love.
