Betlehem was born in Adama, Ethiopia. Her father abandoned the family in the middle of debt, leaving behind a heavy burden that crushed their lives. Hunger became their daily reality, and they could not afford school fees or materials. Nights were filled with sorrow, as her mother cried in despair, and Betlehem’s childhood was marked by pain and uncertainty. But Hope for Kids brought light into her darkness.

She now receives food, education, and support. Her mother has regained strength, and Betlehem is filled with joy and hope. She dreams of turning her painful past into a testimony of victory, becoming someone who uplifts others and shows that broken beginnings can lead to beautiful futures.
