Life Story:

Miheret was born in Mojo town, Ethiopia. She lived on the street with her mother, where survival was a daily struggle. The street could not provide the essentials of life — no food, no shelter, no safety. Hunger weakened her body, and malnutrition made her sick. Her mother, watching her child suffer, feared for her life. In desperation, she brought Miheret to Hope for Kids.

At the center, Miheret received nutritious food, medical care, and a safe place to sleep. Her health improved quickly, and her smile returned. She now studies, learns the Bible, and dreams of a future filled with hope. Miheret’s story is one of rescue — from sickness and fear to strength and joy.
