Life Story:

Abenezer was born in Adama city, Ethiopia, into a life of deep poverty. Hunger pushed him to the streets, where he often ate rotten food just to survive. His fragile health suffered, and he became sick many times. The constant struggle forced him to stop school, and he faced dangers that no child should endure — hunger biting at him daily, and even wild animals threatening his safety. Yet, through many supports and the grace of God, Abenezer’s path turned.

Now, at Hope for Kids, he has returned to school and is building a brighter future. He carries a big dream in his heart, determined to rise above his past and become someone who brings change.
