Ablene grew up in Mojo town, Ethiopia. When his parents divorced, his fate was sealed by the street, as no one stepped forward to take responsibility for him. At times, his old grandmother tried to raise him, but poverty in her home made it impossible to provide the care he needed. Ablene faced hunger, loneliness, and the dangers of street life, struggling without guidance or protection. But his story did not end there.

Hope for Kids welcomed him, giving him food, education, and a safe environment. Now Ablene is in good condition, surrounded by friends and hope. His life has shifted from despair to possibility, and he dreams of a future where he can stand strong and help others like him.
