Life Story:

Ablakat was born in Mojo town, Ethiopia. Her childhood was shaken when her parents divorced, leaving her without stability or guidance. Her old grandmother tried to care for her, but poverty and age made it impossible to provide what Ablakat needed. She drifted away from school, her days marked by hunger, fear, and loneliness. The divorce carved a path of uncertainty, and she often felt forgotten. Yet her story turned when Hope for Kids welcomed her.

She found food, shelter, and a family of care. She is now continuing her education and learning the Bible, discovering strength in God’s word. Ablakat’s life, once broken, is being rebuilt with hope, and she dreams of a future where she can stand tall and inspire others.
